As a partner of the international automotive industry for the development and manufacture of car brake discs, Buderus Guss is globally positioned.

From 1991, the Breidenbach location in Hesse was consistently expanded to specialize in brake parts. Since 2016, the Ludwigshütte location has been the technology center for the development and production of the innovative, fine dust reducing brake disc iDisc®.

Buderus Guss stands for high-quality materials, state-of-the-art production processes, excellent quality, safety and perfection with tradition.
We supply all well-known car manufacturers in Europe and also customers in Japan and South Korea with car brake discs for original equipment and original spare parts service.

Since 2005, Buderus Guss GmbH has been a company of Robert Bosch GmbH and is now part of the Chassis Systems Control Division.

Since 2017, Robert Bosch Lollar Guss GmbH has been a cooperation partner of Buderus Guss and mainly produces car brake discs of large dimensions in an expanded state-of-the-art foundry at the Lollar/Hessen site. The Breidenbach, Ludwigshütte, and Lollar locations are combined in the Bosch CC-BC product division.

Buderus Guss is a leader in the field of lightweight brake discs. Through innovations in brake disc materials and in the connection technology between the brake disc friction ring and cup, the engineers at Buderus Guss have achieved weight reductions of up to 24 percent compared to conventional brake discs in numerous model variants, thus contributing to resource savings in the manufacturing process and fuel consumption.
