Christoff Wachendorff, Chairman of the Management Board of Buderus Guss GmbH
Christoff Wachendorff was born in Offenbach am Main in 1982. After studying at TU Darmstadt, he joined Robert Bosch GmbH in 2010 as a graduate industrial engineer. After holding various positions at several locations in the Bosch Group, he was Head of Department for Global Manufacturing Coordination ABS/ESP Brake Control Systems at the Blaichach plant in 2016. In 2017, he took over the management of the French plant Moulins-Yzeure at Robert Bosch France.
Since February 1, 2021, Christoff Wachendorff has been Managing Director of Buderus Guss GmbH and Head of the Brake Components Product Area (CC-BC) with responsibility for the brake disc business in the Chassis Systems Control Division. The Brake Components product area includes the sites in Breidenbach, Lollar and Ludwigshütte.
Ute Abel, Member of the Management Board of Buderus Guss GmbH
Ute Abel, born in Fronhausen/Hesse in 1964, studied industrial engineering and management at the University of Karlsruhe and joined Buderus Bau- und Abwassertechnik GmbH, Wetzlar, as a graduate industrial engineer in 1989.
In 1992, she took over as head of the Corporate Planning and Controlling department at the former Buderus AG, Wetzlar. After Buderus AG was taken over by Robert Bosch GmbH in 2003, she became Head of Corporate Planning and Controlling and was responsible for the integration of the former Buderus AG's Industry Division into Robert Bosch GmbH. In 2005, she moved to Buderus Guss GmbH, initially heading the Finance and Controlling division and was a member of an M&A expert team at Bosch in Abstatt from 2010 to 2011.
As CFO, Ute Abel has been a member of the Board of Management of Buderus Guss GmbH since 2013 and, also as CFO, a member of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch Lollar Guss GmbH since 2017.
